The Alternate (HTTP) Upload Screen allows you to upload zipped documents from your computer and have them unzipped into the safe. Simply check the “Zipped” checkbox for that file. They all have the same description and reminder date that you set for the zipped file.
Zipping Files: Windows You can easily combine files in Windows XP. Open Windows Explorer (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories- > Windows Explorer). Create a Compressed (zipped) Folder which is an option under the File -> New menu. When you name it, use ".zip" for the extension. Then double-click that folder to open it. Go back to the main Explorer window and find the files you want to send and drag them to the empty folder you just created. (Copies will be created in the zipped folder; the original files will remain where they were.) When you are ready to upload, select this zipped directory to upload.
Zipping Files: Macintosh OS X (10.3 - 10.5) You can combine files in OS X by selecting a folder (or some of the items in a folder), then choosing "Create Archive" (10.3 & 10.4) or "Compress xxx" (10.5) under the File menu. Upload the newly created file on the Upload page.
Zipping Files With other operating systems you will need to locate a program such as WinZip (for Windows) or Stuffit (for Mac) to combine files.
Uploading... Follow the same directions as in the Upload : Alternate Method tab, but don't forget to click the ”Zipped“ checkbox. If you don't check it, your file remains a single, zipped file in the safe.
